FAILED TO OPEN THE AUDIO DEVICE FOCUSRITE USB ASIO DRIVER

Maybe that advice is good from "iseedeafpeople" It was working a few weeks back. Thu Nov 30, 5: Unable to open audio playback device. For MY situation, this instantly fixed everything, and I have kept things separate ever since plus, I turned off Windows sounds. Going into Edit - Preferences - Driver Settings, my sample rate is None of my old projects, even a brand new one won't play without the message "Unable to open audio playback device. I tried to uncheck "Share Drivers with other programs" to no avail.

Send a private message to Peter W. I previously downloaded the new driver and tried to update my driver to see if it would fix this problem, but the system said the driver was the latest version Focuusrite all posts by my Hope you get yours going.

Or do I have to wait for a patch. I have uninstalled the Focusrite drivers as Bouldersoundguy recommended in every combination!!

DAW won't recognize my audio interface...

I reloaded the drivers at least 10 times and am ready to try and reinstall Lite but that has it's own drama! Haven't received registration validation E-mail? I am also using a new Dell M with Vista Home Premium but am having trouble getting sound consistently to play. Device may not support the current project's audio format, or may be in use.

Did running REWizard have anything to do with this Wed Jun 25, I am audik conflicting info.

Restored the entire machine from disk image to factory shipped disk another great feature and reloaded the PT a number of times. I've successfully loaded the PT 7.

What do you mean by inconsistent? Space Coast, Central Florida. Only problem is that when I go to play a track from a previous session, the cursor moves, but only occassionally will play audibly with sound.
