If I play with the touchpad while the laptop is resuming, then hibernation does not occur. When auto-suspending on Gutsy, my PC hibernates after coming out of that suspendstate, and after restarting, it will correctly come out of hibernation. I usually hit the suspend hot key or go through the menu. I've looked through the GPM code and it isn't obvious how it could be hibernating after a suspend.

It didn't disappear at all, in every combo box you can choose nothing, suspend, hibernate, turn off the screen approximate translation.
